ISO 9004 – A STIMULATING QUALITY MANAGEMENT STANDARD FOR THE CREATIVE LEADERS
The ISO 9004 standard is aimed at providing QMS guidance for organizations to achieve sustained success in complex, demanding & ever-changing, and specific contemporary business environments, including the requirements of the 4th industrial revolution. But, there also are practical difficulties and pitfalls associated with the ISO 9004 standard & their possible solutions. Juhani Anttila has more than 50 years’ experience; 35 years for the leading Finnish telecommunications service operator. He has been an active member of the International Standardization Committee ISO TC 176 and of corresponding national committee in Finland. He will highlight the relationship of ISO 9004 and ISO 9001 standards, and explain how an organization can reap significant benefits from management standards by effective integration with the business management.
