AUTHOR’S INTRODUCTION
Behram J. Pestonji is a graduate in Aeronautical Engineering (Aerospace) from the PAF College of Aeronautical Engineering, NED University, Karachi. Served the PAF in various aircraft engineering and maintenance positions in and out of Pakistan. Served the Ministry of Defense at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra for nearly a decade in the field of aircraft rebuild, manufacturing, design and quality assurance.
He has been a member of the consultants group at the National Physical Standards Laboratories (NPSL), Islamabad. A life member, Royal Aeronautical Society of Pakistan (MRAeS). A member of the Institute of Engineers, Pakistan (MIE).
In the private sector, served the engineering and construction industry in quality assurance & control. Especially, in the implementation of ISO 9001 based Quality Management Systems in some of the largest engineering & construction companies of Pakistan. Introduced to the private sector, reliable services for calibration, maintenance and repair of Inspection Measuring and Testing Equipment.
Author of various papers and articles on National Standardization management, Defense R & D/ Productivity and Quality Assurance in Pak culture.
