Author’ Introduction:   

Khurram Nawaz is currently working in the Union National Bank, Abu Dhabi as a Deputy Manager TQM. During his 15 years of professional career, he has established Quality, Environment and Safety Management Systems in the aviation, construction and manufacturing sectors. Emirates and Dnata Airport Services, Dubai Airport has achieved recently ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications under his project management. He has worked both as a consultant and practitioner and implemented various quality award and business excellence initiatives in many organizations. He holds Master in Applied Geology from University of the Punjab and Diploma in TQM from Japan. He is a Team Leader for Dubai Quality Award and European Business Excellence Model and has assessed many organizations for quality awards. He is a lead auditor for Quality, Environment and Safety Management Systems. He has been a speaker in different conferences and published articles in renowned quality journals. He has been a guest faculty in TQM for MBA at the International University, Dubai. He is a senior member of ASQ and member QSA. His accomplishments have brought his name in the 2003, 7th edition of World’s Who’s Who in Science & Engineering.


Over the last decade, customer demand for excellent quality products and services have increased tremendously, which have enhanced competition globally. The forth-coming enforcement of WTO will further stretch the markets and only those organizations will survive who apply business excellence practices stringently in routine. Therefore in this era of high quality products and services requirements and customer needs, a radical re-evaluation of business processes is essential across all facets of modern enterprise. It becomes twice as important in the action leading companies to re-define their business practices. Adoption of business excellence practices has become the cutting edge of any world-class company.Many organizations and business leaders recognize importance of strategic management, but few succeed at translating their strategies into business planning and results. Moreover many companies pay more attention in devising extra-ordinary strategies than to carrying them out and thus elegant strategies are normally end up with poor deployment and implementation.The main aim of this paper is to highlight path towards business excellence through strategic to process management.  It will try to show link between company’s vision, mission, objectives, processes, customer and employee measures require obtaining positive business outcomes particularly after WTO in force.The paper will also discuss about strategy-customer relationship, strategy-employee relationship, objectives setting and process management with emphasis of monitoring cycle and their role in achieving excellence. Various diagrams will compliment each step of the paper.
