Mr. Raghaverdran Mukundan is a Post Graduate in Chemical Engineering and in Training & Development. He has worked for 22 years in many reputed organizations such as Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Larsen & Toubro (L&T).He has handled Manufacturing, Quality and HRD functions. Got Trained in Japan in the areas of TPM/ TQM in Toyota, Nippon Steel, Matsushita Electric Co.
He has extensively traveled abroad for presenting papers in International Conventions. He is one of the resource persons on 5S technique in SAARC region and is currently Vice-President of ABK-AOTS DOSOKAI, Tamilnadu center which is an Alumni Society of Association of Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS), Japan. He is a fellow of Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), a professional Body among HR/ Training Managers in the country.

ABSTRACT
India, in the 90’s has initiated radical changes in the economic policy to meet the competitive Global Business. The new policies, launched in conjunction with the liberalized Trade policy and vigorous reform of the monetary and fiscal sectors, are part of a comprehensive ongoing program of Economic reforms.
Many Indian Organizations, both from public/private sectors have initiated Total Quality Management (TQM) efforts to sustain the Business and to become a Global player in Business. Every organization that has initiated TQM has adopted its own Model for implementing TQM and in this paper, the author briefly explains the Best practices of 8 organizations. The Organizations are:
